Name: “Orange Sherbet dipped in decadent creme flavored fudge”
Point of Sale: Target
Some readers might be wondering about all of the Peeps. I went to Target on Monday and found a cornucopia of Peep related items. I couldn’t resist. Doing a brief look online, the rabbit hole of Peep flavors is extensive. I wonder if I’ll find them after Easter on Sunday.
Anyway, this Orange Sherbet Peep takes the cake especially after yesterday’s lemon sherbet flavored Peep. Visually, it’s nice: a vibrant orange exterior with creme fudge bottom.
But I knew it was going to be something different. The smell hit me when I took out of the package.
My first bite was orange sherbet goodness. Unlike the lemon taste, this was much bolder. The creme fudge was a welcome addition as always with the creaminess next to the crunchiness of the marshmallow. Together, it made the Peep taste like a creamsicle or as one taster explained, an Orange Julius.
However, it does come at a cost. Not sure if it is the result of many Peeps over the past few days but my teeth started to ache from the sugar. So there’s that.
